The details

Who's a good candidate, and what to check first.

Permanent makeup is not medical advice territory, so here's the plain version.

You're likely a good fit if

  • You have healthy, intact skin around your brows with no active irritation
  • You have realistic expectations: permanent makeup fades over time, and touch-ups keep it looking its best
  • You're comfortable with a numbed, low-discomfort process
  • You're not pregnant or nursing
  • You're not currently taking blood thinners, isotretinoin (Accutane), or immune-suppressing medication

Talk to your doctor first if

  • You have diabetes or a condition that slows healing
  • You have a bleeding or clotting disorder
  • You have an autoimmune condition or are on immune-suppressing treatment
  • You have a history of keloid or raised scarring
  • You're undergoing chemotherapy or radiation
  • You have active skin conditions on or near the brows, like eczema, psoriasis, or dermatitis
  • You've had Botox or filler in the brow area recently (about 4 weeks prior is safest)

Already have permanent makeup? You're likely a Brow Correction client, and existing work is reviewed before anything new is scheduled.
